Treating the Youth Athlete – Course 1

This course is designed to provide the clinician with an introduction to the treatment of youth athletes. The course reviews: categories of youth athletes, injury locations, sports injury statistics, risk factors, sports health history, injury characteristics and severity, dislocations, return to play protocols, fractures, epiphyseal injuries, avulsions, overuse injuries, soft tissue injuries, lower extremity injuries, ligament injuries. The objective of this course is to educate the clinician on these topics. The course is provided in a video slideshow format, and contains interactive quizzes.
